blew my sub

DAMN! i was driving to school today, enjoying my Mac Dre, when all of a sudden, the bass went out. I was all shit. my amp blew or the vibrations knocked a connection out. so i got home, checked all connections, everything good. took the sub out the box, checked around, and SHIOT!!! the spider was torn where the terminal hooks to the wire. the wire from the terminal to the center of the cone, on bottom, was ripped from the spider on both sides. fuck. now i gotta get a new one. any suggestions? im thinking about the RF Power Hx2 15". anyone know good 15's? that can take about 1000 watts rms?
sorry so long, peace

Ive heard the rockfords are good sounding and can take a real beating!!

On another hand, if you have some cash to spend, get a MTX RFL 152... they are made for competition and they even come with an extra coil and cone assembly in the box. They handle 2000 watts RMS, 4000 peak!

My Uncle runs a sound shop and is heavily into competition. He swears by Eclipse across the board.

For me, I'm very happy with my JBL GTO 12's!
