Chief F1 Fan

I thought abc did a nice job on the Monza coverage yesterday except they blew the podium coverage in the name of putting on as many friggin' commercials as possible. I was glad to see Rubens win, he was in a class of his own. My wife and I kept saying over and over, "I wish I was there." In 98 we were and Ferrari finished 1-2 that year. It was NUTS there. No other fan base can be as emphatic about motor racing as the Italians (except maybe the brazilians). I noticed when they went to commercial break, they picked up where they left off which was appreciated. Nice camera work (Irvine in car) and nose cone (Montoya). It was great to see Ferrari's "3rd driver" Irvine make the podium. GREAT RACE!!

Oh yeah I forgot, my wife kept saying " I wish we were going to Indy" too. I'm really gonna miss that race this year. Unless something drastic happens in the next 2 weeks (case gets settled) I won't be there. ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH!
