"We have seen a few Acura CL show cars in magazines, since 1994 when the CL was introduced, with these grilles installed and the owner stated paying OVER $1300.00."

Um, is it just me, or did the CL come out in 97? You can make a better looking grill than that yourself for 30 bucks and some time.

From his eBay auction:

"We have seen a few Acura CL show cars in magazines, since 1994 when the CL was introduced, with these grilles installed and the owner stated paying OVER $1300.00."
_________

. . . and I thought my '97 was the first year of production!

It did.

Well, technically, you could purchase a '97 CL in 1996, but it's still a 1997 model year -- NOT 1994.

Chinisimo: Unfortunately, you can't leave public comments.

well if you wanted to get technical.........Acura DID unveil the CL at an auto show in late 1994, I can't remember if it was Tokyo, L.A., or chicago. Now perhaps a concept version of the car's grill, could have cost 1300 bucks if you HAD to put a price on it!

. . . but there was NO production CL in 1994 to put the grill on.

The picture in his eBay auction, clearly shows a production 1st Gen; not the CL-X prototype.

they just say 94-97 because it also fits the accord, they probably changed the paragraph that was originally referring to an accord and just put 94-97 acura cl...

i only found stuff costing 25 bucks and made out of
"Aluminum steel grill mesh with a chrome-like appearance !"
that would go great on my
plastic and metal car with a sporty-like appearance

what about the vigor and the legend they have model changes in 94?
