Big Problem

I've got a problem and I am hoping someone can help as I cannot solve it. Last night we took my car to get some mexican food (I was not driving I let my girl drive as I dont have a license and I dont drive). Anyways the POS center console on the 97's where the stero is heald in was loose and I pushed it in. Like that I thought I heard a fuse pop and the dash lights went out and the tail lights went out. So we drove home and got pulled over twice on the 3.2 mile drive for having no taillights. The only thing I have done is the blue clock DIY. Which fuse controls the dash lights and the taillights? I checked all the ones inside and none are blown.

you might want to check the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side.

There are 4 different radio fuses, check the ones under the hood. I blew mine and didn't have my radio for a few days. It's a 20 amp blue one, under the hood. That's which one I blew. There's also backup radio fuses both inside and under the hood as well.

have you removed the console yet.. there is a bundle of wires that runs back. it could be caught somewhere. do the head lights still come on.. how bout the running lights? with the tail lights out and dash out i would bet its just the fuse. but you need to find out what is ground out. sounds like the dimmer wire is grounding out.
