Nos is not flammable. I tried to light it once. It doesn't catch on fire. What it does is it helps stuff burn. Here's a neat little experiment. Take a beer can...cut a hole straight through it. Squirt lighter fluid in there and light it up. Blow the gas through there and watch. Just stand BACK!!! Thing is vicious. Gives you a good idea how powerful Nos is.

**P.S. I do not take any responsibility for injuries aquired during this experiment. **

1 Nitrogen and 2 Oxygen molegules. It makes a very clean burning environment because the more oxygen the better things can burn. It pumps more oxygen into your cylinders to create a very good combustible atmosphere. Turbo does the same by jamming more air into the cylinders too. The only drawback with turbo is that "regular air" isn' as oxygen rich as many would believe, there are lots of other gasses mixed in there too. NO2 is mostly Oxygen (2/3 of course) so it is efficient.

Just think of "stoking the fire" like old blacksmiths would do. They have regular wood or coal burning stoves and just used bellows to blow a lot of oxygen in there. When that happened the heat and flame becomes very intense.

Science is cool.

use common sence NOS carries O2 and makes air really cold makes it burn fast (not the nos but the fuel air mixtur) so adda turbo and more pressur can be done and has been doen a thousand time jsut got to be alittle safe with it like use fuel injectors aswell with the nitous and buy some really hard head studs

i smoke all day long when i fill up nitrous tanks at the shop, its funny how ppl flip out and run away scared.. if you put a nitrous fogger on the turbo, it'll spool it faster too

You can run turbo and nos if you can supply your engine with enough fuel. You need a big fuel pump, injectors and a fuel rail. Most people that have turbo and nos use a small shot of nos.

Fode fill my tank up its empty
