It'll be the same thing - the auto shift knobs are pretty much universal and just slide over the shaft with some screws holding it in place

So it has been done? I dont really understand how the button on the side of a stock shifter would be able to fit on a razo shifter, where the button is on top. Hmm, I dont want to take a chance and buy a shifetr and it not working ,ya know? werd

just unscrew your stock shifter and you'll see. the button on the side presses on a vertical spring. The same vertical spring that any universal shifter button will press on

I slapped on the type S shift knob. Had to bore it out with a drill to make it fit. Looks cool.

Ok, its the easiest install...if your going to get a new knob to make your auto look like a stick, u MUST buy a knob that is made for an auto!! Your OEM knob has a button on the side, therefor, there needs to be somekind of "action" on your new know (ie, a button..or like mine, a push down knob) that activitates the "auto lock feature"...

What this means is if you get in your car now with the OEM knob, to shift from park to drive, u have to press the button...this action releases the "auto lock" and allows u to shift down to drive...so your new shiftknob needs a "action feature" to allow u to release the "auto lock" feature...

THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE TO BUY A "AUTO" SHIFT KNOB!

Other than that, the new knobs just screw right on...takes like 5 minutes....mine took longer because it has a push down feature so it took me a few tries to get it installed right so that i'd still have the autolock feature (therefor locking the knob from slipping into 2nd from drive (without pressing down)

The boot is easy, i just tore out the rubber ring around the OEM shift knob floor (where the numbers light up) and stuffed the ends of the boot down there with a credit card...

Its the Easiest install!! just make sure you get an aftermarket knob made for an auto!!

if u have any other questions, PM me!!

hope it works out for ya!
