attn: any1 w/ I4 time slips

can u please post them. cltyper i know u ran a 15.7 with just i/h/e. im arguing with some peeps that a 5spd cl or cord can run a 16 with just those mods. and that an auto with i/h/e cord or cl can run at least same time as a stock 5spd.

a yeah plz list ur mods that made your time what it is. good or bad. good ex: intake, header or bad ex: heavy system, 18" rims

16.4 best time for my first time at track.
Good:
Spare and jack out of car and 1/4 tank of gas.
Front tire pressure at 28psi
Bad:
Wheel hop on the start. Hot day. Street tires (not the stickiest rubber) and no suspension. Stock 16" rims.
Short ram intake and only a rear section exhaust.

I'll let you know how I do on Sunday.
Hopefully I'll do better. It's cooler out now.

They don't beleive that a CL can get in the 16's? Stock it's a 16 car I think.
Do these guys even know anything?

I sold off alot of the stuff that was on the f23. All I have left is the headers and the magnecore spark plug wires. If anyone wants them make me an offer. The intake gets used again in the h22 but that was about it.

Hey VXCL,
I can fax the slip to you if that would help.
I ran the same as I did a month ago but I didn't have any extra mods. Weather was about the same temp but with a breezy headwind, and track was slick at the start so i don't know if I could have done better. 16.4 is where I'm at now...

I can do $150 shipped for both. Let me know. I really have no use for the stuff and its just taking up room.

Just got back from Infineon Raceway (sonoma CA) wedensday night drags. My 1st run at the track scored me a 15.3 at 94mph. I was kinda upset so I got back in line. My final two runs for the night, yielded a 14.93 and a 14.96 both at 95mph. Racing at the track is a lot more difficult than racing on the street. I think if I had some 17in rims with some stickier rubber my times could have been better. It sucks getting beat by some kid in a Pontiac GTP (Supercharged) but it was a learning experience.

2004 Acura TL, 6-spd, A-spec kit
18in rolling stock
AEM Cold air intake.
