curiosity

so i should be getting somewhere close to 1500 for graduation

it wouldnt be worth it to buy a new car, so im figuring on dumping the cash in the cl

im wondering if a five speed h22 conversion would be possible with that and if not how much. or any other possible options.

or you can just give me a personal opinion on what i should do with the money(could be a little more or less).

1500 99% won't even get you the engine and tranny, none the less extra parts and if you need to pay for labor. Do what kepto said, then maybe some maintanance or simple mods.

^^ im not sure where you live at but i can get you the motor tranny and a few other parts throw in for $1500. im in the tampa bay area. it seems to be a common price around here. but you would need to install yourself. basically i think you should spend the money elsewhere.

i spotted all these in 2 minutes.

making the cl go fast is pretty hard. but making it look nice is a different story. With 1500, you can get some nice rims, lower it, tint, and maybe a sound system. If you still want to make it fast instead, I'd say sell the Ack and get a civic and then the swap. You won't even touch that 1500 of yours and you'll be faster in a light civic than a heavy cl. thats my opinion.

^^that equals a really nice set of rims. personally for 1500 i would get: an intake, exhaust, maybe decent set of headers, tint, blackhousing (maybe $5 for paint and sealant), tail light tint, front corners, led interior swap, debadge, detail inside and out, paint the trim panels to match the car, nice stereo, and you still wouldnt break 1000 by a long shot. or you could just spend it all on rims or a drop I did all the cheap things you can do first
