anyone try balence shaft eliminators?

been looking at kaizen's balence shaft eliminator for H/F series, has anyone tried one yet. i was curious about the vibration difference, it says there hardly a difference with out the balence shafts, but looking for first hand experience

or you could save yourself some coin and just take the belt off to see if it's annoying.

it's not btw. although i had a poly front mount when i did it to my CB7.

I'll save this for a mod later on down the road, looks like it might be beneficial for a lil bit of extra horsepower.

it's free hp. i had the poly front mount before i did it and my steering wheel would shake. After i put in the new motor with out the belt the vibration from the motor canceled it out and my steering wheel went back to normal.

it makes about 150whp and 155ish ft-lbs now, well it would if the car was running, lol.

cause i slide it into a curb during the the winter 2yrs ago. that why i have the CL now.

but i have found a home for the lil beasty, i just have to build it.

think home built ariel atom with a 93 accord as the donor. but not like the attack thing.

one of the best mods you can do. not does it free up rotating mass. but you actually gain some oil pressure... not the best thing to do in the car but if you are doing a swap i suggest it

i just re-assembled my motor and didn't throw the balancer belt on. Couldn't tell you how it is cuz it hasn't started yet

if it actually frees up 10-15hp then that's not too shabby at all, i was expecting like 5hp

damn man i was gonna remind you about that. that should have been done when the motor was out of the car. makes life 10x's easier.

i can get all the 9 parts from my dealership for $120. which is very good. but like i said its gonna suck absolute balls to do the conversion when the engine is in the car.

no its still different. the H23 probaly has the auto tensioner unlike the H23A1 non-vtec which is the motor we get the conversion parts from.

i think it depends on what part of the motor this has to do with, cuz the head is basically the H22 head, but the block is different. What part of the motor does this effect exactly?
