i've been contemplating it since i ffirst bought the car. Anyone done it?

Havent done it but thought about it as well. I think it'd look pretty good. Definately look custom.

window trim is blk...???!! or are you talking chrome???

I covered the chrome in vinyl before in flat blk to match rubber trim.. that looked hot but peeled alil so i took it off

I like my crome trim aginst the red color, but on a black car or something blak next to black would be tight

I agree, the monotone black all around would lend your car a sportier appearance. However, I agree with Casper, I'm not sure if I could deal with the thing peeling like his did. Too much maintenance, IMO. I guess it's a matter of your preference and what you're willing to do for uniqueness

just paint ur lower moldings silver on a black car and it accents the chrome around the windows beautifully. the rims also. pics soon i promise.

That sounds like an interesting color scheme. I'd love to see pics of someone who did that.

i think black will set off the rest of teh car....cause the chrome is where your eyes are drawn

Hmmm... I can see your point, though. Looks good, but I think with what you alread have done, you're right. It would all add up to a more cohesive look

CLPower: GO FOR THE BLK MOLDINGS... much like me yuo havea color scheme going.. follow it through... It would look kinda "NIGT RIDER" like... interesting, unique, distinguished and awesome look for our 1st gen... And yes.. not clear corners... SMOKED clear corners!!!! (and if its your taste... smoke out your tail lights!!!)
