anyone know how to check the codes for the ABS? i fixed my CEL and SRS light and my VSS which followed by the ABS light coming on

 

It's probably a wheel speed sensor. There is a small blue 2 wire connector underneath the glove box. You just need to jump it with a paperclip and count how many times the abs light flashes. That will give you your code.

You can get the speed sensors for decent prices if you shop around on the internet.

yea, i figured it out, i thought it might be that plug on the pass side. i got like 6 codes. and the weird thing is, i drove the car around finally (new clutch FTMFW btw) and the abs light would turn off and turn back on a few miles later. it kept doing it over and over. i kno it had codes for the wss and the modulator and a few other codes :/

also the CEL came back on right after i did the abs codes, its the damn evap pressure sensor:high.

this car is giving me alot of headacke right now, i put a ton into it (new clutch, exhaust, half the damn light bulbs decided to fail). just to so i can try and sell it, and the CEL coming back on, isn't helping at all b/c its gotta be able to pass the emission test.

how she sits right now at work, poor girl hasn't been driven since summer started

 

That's shitty.

Maybe you should just keep it? It looks in decent shape to me and whatever money you get for it is not justice to what it's worth in my opinion.

I know I'd never think of selling mine.

 

it was a beater car, its out lived its purpose for me.

i actually sold the car on Thursday finally. its just sat around since beginning of summer, taking up space and not running, no one wanted to buy it as is, i put some work into it to get it sellable. its gone now anyways. one less acura in the driveway now... lol... here's the last 2 pictures' i'll ever take of it....
