A 99cl 2.3L - NEEDS MORE POWER.....its a quick B|tch already but what can be done to .....

1. Engage V-Tec quicker
2. What mods yeild high HP-TQ increases
3. Heard of puttin cl cams(or sumpin) in a 3.0CL
4. turbos/SChargers?
5. C H I P S - do they exsist or does the cl cpu override it?

Any help is appreaciated..

I think they have flux capasitors on ebay, not sure though. You'd have to look.

 

Change your canooter valve.

 

Chips, doritos are good, but really there aren't any "chips" just piggy back units

CL-S cams won't work for a 2.3

To tune and increase vtec you need a vtec controller like a VAFC II

Mods for hp would be headers, exhaust, crank pulley, ignition, cam gears, bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors I hear you can put s2000 injects on, port and polished manifold and tb, sleaves, pistons and rods, etc, the list goes on and on, there's always turbo, s/c or nitrous as well. For your motor though, most people just swap in a prelude h22

if you want more power id say if you have the money fuk all the little mods and go with the motor swap

 

buy a new car

 

Also, high flow cat, and if you dont want to completely swap out your motor there is a mod called the G23 frankenstein motor where you swap in an H22 head and CPU for much less than a whole H22 swap, not to mention the bottom end is much stronger in case you want to go boost. the f23 bottom end is good for turbo stock up to about 7 psi, and a shitload more if you upgrade it.

95,000 FT/LBS of balls to the wall = fast CL

Filling it up at the airport all the time might be a hastle though.

You cats are gangsters , Thankx for the |nfo.. my man thinks the whip is quick enough but he just wants a lil more..and i doubt that it would even make sense to buy and install a new engine, sounds retardo...... just gonna do what he can to quicken her up sum mo'...ill tell the cat to screw with some bolt ons and ill let him know about tuning his v-tec........that shit is prolly rude in myCL-S i gotta read on that......even that beetlejuice G23 chip/head swap sounds crazy....
