hey wusup, i just installed my v2 on my 2.3 and i had afew problem but the big confusion is this. there is this fuel filter like object that's rite behind the battery. that was keeping my v2 from being set properly. i was never told that i should take it out or not so i just loosen it and left it hanging around. the filter like object is connected with 1/4 inch or even smaller hose. please help if you can. i also hear lil ticking noise near the throttle body too.

 

oh... i have a same problem..I don't know what to do.. so i also just loosen it and left it near battery.. (what does that thing exactly do..? do we have to keep it..? )

yep.. i've had one for like more than 6 months i think...but i drove less than 2 months...lol

everything is coo so far! u will have a good gas mileage soon

 

now i just gotta find out what the hell is that ticking noise i hear. i mean i did everything rite and its just an intake.

 

well.. i don't know where you can hear that ticking noise... but is that for sure that it's NOT from that little thing that is hanging around...??

i tied it up w/ zip tie tho..

yeah, i got the 94-97 accord one, ill get some pix soon, i got it installed in my cuz garage so no access to a cam.

 

Forget a cam draw a picture of it , kool how is the sound off the intake loud ? . Should be getting mine next week

 

I had the same experience and I tied up the part with a zip tie so it wouldn't rattle all around. I don't really think that part is useful anymore w/ an aftermarket intake but removing it may cause an error light to start flashing. So, I think it's probably best to just leave it where it is and not take it out

sweet, i got it. so yeah, sorry for the big file, so what is that peice of crap that got me all confused.

o yeah i have another thing bout the v2, when i step on the pedal and the throttle just opens lightly, i hear like a whistle noise, is that normal? when i put alil bit more gas and let the throttle open wider, its gone.

 

My car doesn't have one of those.

 

must be something only 2.3 has

 

where did you get this? and how much did it cost you? i am thinking about getting the same one..

i have a '98 2.3 with a V2... i dont have that thing in the way

 

and I too get that whisteling noise... but i think thats normal... i thought it was kinda cool at first, but now i think its annoying... but i still like the V2
