I know one of the mechanics in my dealership since highschool and I'll make sure he checks the sensors throughput if nothing else. what you said makes sense and it may just be old sensors not up the to task anymore. at least I hope it is that.. thanks wilp (if you think of anything else post it!)

ya, i got a 98 3.0 automatic and mine does the same but it also does it going from 2nd to 3rd and wen i put it from drive to reverse it waits a sec then jerks pretty bad and visaversa......

I have a 98 3.0 CL and the transmission sucks.
I have read so many comments about bad Acura trannies for model years 97-02 it makes my head spin.
Love the car, but the trans started acting up before 100k. Thank god I mostly drive highway or it would have gone earlier.
