6spd full of problems!
Well who ever said it was gonna be easy or even CHEAP! My lord, i am having to deal with problems that rain from the sky!!! The biggest is the ecu which the mechanic and i are to dumb to have thought of in the first. I'll be shellin out big bucks for either a 6spd ecu or an AEM complete programable ecu. This kinda sucks. I was told there had to be a lot of "reconstruction" under the floor panel and that i reached a stage where there's no going back now. I don't have a scanner or a d. camera but when it gets all done (hopefully this year!!! j/k) i'll post pics and if you think (like some others on this board) that i'm not gonna dyno this thing and squeeze every last horse out of my $$$, your a civic driver.
that's the latest
side note: does anyone know anything about the post about a 200shot or was that BS?

Good luck with the project! I know you REALLY want that 6-speed!
What kind of $$$ are you looking at with the problems?

should come out here to cali, i could get you the ems cheaper and have an AEM employee tune it. I knew the ecu was gonna be a problem, you need to find some techy to make a piggyback program to override it somehow. But the AEM EMS will do your work, but the tunning is gonna be a bitch and a half.

What?!? Where did this come from? It has nothing to do with the conversation.Start your own new thread if you need to brag about your 175 shot.

I'm looking into doing a swap to an '03 CL-S engine, ECU, and 6 speed tranny into my '01 Accord.
So far I've been quoted 2 weeks work time and $1902.89 USD in labor. The hard part will be finding the parts for the swap.
