alright.. so i have no directional skills what-so-ever.. even though i've lived here all my life (i'm 16).. i dont know the area well enough.. i always get lost in this "greater kansas city area"-- SO
i decided i wanted a navigation system... and unless i wanted to spend an arm..a leg...another arm.. and maybe my torso, i'd have to go with a garmin portable navi.. i decided that the GPS V Deluxe was what i wanted(fitted my needs).. onlinemarine.com has it for $420 (that includes shipping)..
but now i have a friend who works at best buy and will hook me up.. so it'll be around $250-300.. dont know exactly yet...

i don't want to hardwire it because i want to be because i want to be able to switch it between cars.. and i have a radar detector so i'm going to get a cigarette lighter spliter...

now finally my question: where should i put the GPS V unit??.. i'm not going to leave it out in plain site all the time because its parked outside so much.. i dont want some dick to smash a window and steal it... so where i put it i want to be able to toss it in my glove compartment...
any ideas? or just comments?? -- i cant wait to know where the fuck i am :-D

 

you are 16 years old and you don't know your way around Kansas City? I have only lived here for about 6 years and I know where EVERYTHING is. LOL, maybe a navigation system is best for you.
