Unhappy 3rd Brake Light Wire Harness Missing???

Hi Guys,

As the title suggest's my thrid brake light wiring harness is missing... ...(the light that sits inside the cabin between the speakers right up against the Glass).

I was in the trunk doing some shit and noticed that the light bulb and the socket is there but there is no wiring harness going into the bulb. .... and I looked around and still cannot find any unused plug that I can stick into this.....

So my question is do I have to rerun a fresh line or am I missing some thing here... ...if some one can post a pic of their truck and all the wiring harness that goes around the speaker it would be helpful.

Thankx
JFK

if you have a spoiler, that light is unused, the harness is connected to the spoiler's brake light instead. you're not supposed to have both the spoiler and 3rd brake light go on at the same time.

Yep, if you have the spoiler, it's hooked to that, it's only one or the other

You can split into it but I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah my cl had both light up too. My guess is that the spoiler was added later and whoever installed it spliced into the brake harness. Who cares really? Worked fine and looked good.

Doesn't make a dif as long as there's enough juice to support all that. The LED's shouldn't be a prob.
