300zx ???

I am thinking about getting a 300zx TT. Does anybody know anything about this car, reliability wise. It has about 330-340 hp, preal white, carbon fiber hood, carbobon fiber exhaust, short shifter, and momo 18in wheels (10in wide in the back) 105,000 miles. Also what do you guys think is a good price. All it needs is a clutch. I sold my 98 camaro SS and miss having a fast car, plus i have always wanted a car with turbo.

i have one... a 93 tt 5spd

its a great car, have the trubos been replaced, timing belt service... maintence?

turbos are expensive as fawk, as they require an engine pull.

what year, early 90's have issues.

look at kbb.com for an idea.

i paid 8500 for my 93 with 120k, but it had turbos with 30k on them and full dealer maintence records......

I have posted before that my girlfriend owns the CL but I am helping her fix it up(actully ending up spending more time on her car than on any of my rides but i am very happy happy with the way her car is coming along). I register with A-CL.com because I wanted to find out more info about the CL (could not find parts for it). I did most of the work on her car myself check it out at Http://www.streetsourcemag.com/Profi...rofileid=26791 . I get to drive it most of the time because she has to drive 60-70 miles a day and she doesn't want to add a lot of miles on it so i let her use one one of my trucks. But yeah the people on this fourm are cool so whenever I have a random question I usually ask you guys.

It's 93 the guy that i am going to buy it off of is my friend so he is telling me everything that might be wrong with the car. He said it runs strong just kinda checking it out still not 100% sure if I will get it if I do get I want to go all JDM. But thanks for the help. He told that they sell a turbo upgrade kit that will prob put me in the 500hp range.

the engine is prolly one of the most cramped spaced engines. And if something breaks, maintenence is gonna be expensive

I had a 92 TT 5spd. It was a great car. I had it modded and it was pretty fast. Like someone said if the turbos are original they are going to go soon. If you get it I would put a turbo timer on it to prolong the life of the turbos. They run about $100. Klepto said the engine is cramped. He's not BSing. The guys that did the mods on my car hated working on it because there was no space in the engine bay. The shocks if they are stock could go soon and are fairly expensive. I loved this car but someone stole it when I was out clubbing in Austin TX. My old girlfriend said I use to take better care of it than her. She said it was my dick on wheels. I had a few other small issues here and there. When it got stolen it had about 110K on it. With mods I hit about 170mph. I would say that's about a true 170 unlike people on here with 2.2/2.3s going 145-150mph I had some killer Manaray Sport three piece on there............ I was sad to see it go. Well I didn't really see it go.
