20x9 HELP HELP

sup guys.. sorry if this may be out of topic.. but I need some answers from some of the pros here..

my brother in law who sold me his Racing Hart M5s is planning on buying a set of Axis Seven Mods and they are 20x9 (staggered look). But he's not sure if it will rub because of the 9 inch WIDE... the Racing Hart he had before was an 18x8 (which I have on my CL now) and did not rub... so help please guys.. thanks...

I'm going to say not a chance on this one. Those are some WIDE wheels.

I corrected that quote. I meant 9" wide rims. Not many cars are setup to handle 9" wide rims, especially FWDs though.

man that sucks if it won't fit his car.. it's great deal though even the deal does not come with tires.. I mean we're talking about an Axis Seven Mod 20x9 for $950 Brand New... oh well..

HOW ABOUT a 19x8???

19x8 will probably work w/ a little modifying to the liner

btw 97CL22, 9" wide wheels are really not all that wide.

I'm sure your right. I'm no wheel expert and i havn't looked up anything but FWD wheels in quite some time. I used to look at rims back when i had my 82 Z28 but that was a looong time ago.

i saw a cl with 8" wide tires and if you look from the back it looks awkward b/c the wheels look like they stick out wide....alomst like that old craze of 'skateboarding" your car....

You got inspires right? I used to have a set of chrome Exclusives. That was back in the day though, since been retired, sold to another CL owner.
