basically the thing bolts right in, all you need is the Prelude driver's side motor mount, thats about it, if you get a OBDII H22A, youre OK, but if youve got an OBD!, then you need a jumper harness, either way you need the H22 ECU, but you can keep your F22 tranny if you really want to

Also, what years were obd1? And what concerns would I have in using a JDM set-up as opposed to a USDM?

the JDM setup runs interal coil distributer, doesnt use a crank angle sensor and doesnt have an EGR. but of u plan on going obd 1, it wont matter much. oh and if u use a full prelude engine harness you will save a lot of headache.

Ok, so I would need an obd1 jdm h22a, along with a '92-'96 usdm prelude wiring harness and drivers side motor mount? What year and model jdm cars came with the obd1 h22a? Also, will I be able to keep my ps and ac? And what ecu is best to use with a set-up like this?

the best UCU to use if going obd 1 is the P72 with H22a basemap, setup wo/ EGR. rywire.com can help u set that up. U can also use the P28 setup the same way but u loose ur secondary butterfly controls.(i bypassed that by keeping them open all time) The cheapest way to go is the p13 (stock h22 5speed ecu) but u might throw CEL all the time.

I kept my PS by using the 97-01 prelude power steering bracket, and get custom sized belts.
