I've searched and read through other power window posts but haven't found anything helpful for my problem. I've got what I consider a really odd issue. The rear driver's side door window will roll up and down just fine with the local power window switch. The same window will only roll down from the driver's door master switch and will not roll back up. The driver's door master switch for the windows has been replaced with a functional, brand new OEM part and the problem persists. All other windows function normally from the driver's door master switch and their local door window switch. Aside from some odd electrical component issue in a box somewhere, I'm at a loss at what would prevent the window from rolling up but not down. A ground or wire issue seems unlikely to me? Thanks for any help you can provide.

The master switch and the module of the two left doors are located on the front driver's door, they communicate via the signal bus, and I doubt that there is any problem there, but two wires come out of the door module that go into the kick panel of the fuse box and then go to the switch on the rear doors, I think you need to check the integrity of this yellow wire. Possible break in the LF or LR wiring harness (like a Volkswagen)

Altair47, I wanted to come say thanks again. I was able to isolate an open wire issue in the driver door sub harness and get my windows working properly again. Many thanks! Issue resolved!

You are welcome, Did you replace the wire in this section or did you just connect it? Correct repair in these places is replacing a piece (from 10 to 15 inches) of wire that has broken off with subsequent soldering, otherwise this is a temporary solution to the problem.
