need help with starting the car!

Hello all,

My 2007 MDX went dead over the weekend, i tried jump starting the car but it wont turn the car on, but the navigation screen came up and asked me for a code. but i do not know my code! I'm wondering if this is the reason why the car will not turn on. I am going to try to charge the battery using a battery charger, in the mean time, all comments are appreciated!

thanks in advance!

Anything code related would be in/on the owners manual card. If that doesnt work, call the dealer

Your MDX has enough battery power to run the navigation system but not enough to crank the engine which requires a LOT of power in a short amount of time in comparison.

Your navigation code is four digits and should be included in any documentation you got with the vehicle. It MIGHT also be on the inside part of the lid of your fusebox (the one in the engine bay) At least, thats where the codes are on my two Acuras.

Like Ken said, the nav code has nothing to do with startng the car. You nav code (and radio code) would be on a card that theoretically should be with your owners manuals. If you do not have that card, check the lid of the engine bay fuse box for a sticker with the code printed on it. Some dealers put a sticker in the glove box instead of the fuse box, you should check there as well. This code also should have been noted in your "maintenance journal" which should be in with your owners manuals as well.
