The ignition key in my 2005 MDX is stuck. I can't get it past the ACC position unless I disconnect the battery. I have just over 80K miles on it and this is the first time I've had any problem with the vehicle. The only recent change that may be of consequence is that I recently purchased a Garmin GPS unit and left it plugged into the cigarette lighter power adaptor. It acts like the vehicle is left in gear when I try to turn off the car off and remove the key. I'm hoping this is a fuse or relay problem, but I can't seem to locate a related item in the owners manual. Anybody have any ideas where to look?

 

I think you need to check the dealer because maybe the relay of your shiftting gear is connected to the ignition .

 

maybe the relay is grounded, sometimes its open and sometimes is closed .mayba need to replace
