My Acura MDX 2007 with 120k Miles started to make noise. Only while decelerating I would hear a knocking noise coming out bellow engine. While pressing gas and accelerating it doesnt produce the noise but when letting go of the gas as car decelerates i would hear it. With low speed knocking is a bit loader and less frequent while higher acceleration knocking is faster. What could be the problem? Transmission? Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this problem before i take it to the mechanic.

 

Either suspension parts ( broken bushings) or axle

AGREED.... Make a video. Also, do you have any error codes? When you are decelerating, does it feel like there is a vacuum or overly sensitive accelerator?
Old stabilizer bar links . . . ?
Old stabilizer bar links are a common one for clunk.
New front and back Moog stabilizer bar links can fix some clunking.
After install, be sure and add grease to the Moog's (they come with grease fittings).
Or, get an oil change and have Valvoline or whoever grease them with the grease gun.
If you DO....
WATCH THEM, and make sure they find them and do it properly. Otherwise, they might not SEE them and they won't get done.
They are at a weird angle, so they are easy to miss (if you don't know what you're looking for and where), when you're in their bay and changing your oil.
