AC Inverter Died :/

Well folks...

For some bizarre reason my AC Invertor Died (120V AC Outlet, Entertainment Pkg only) the most insane thing it ever did was charge an iPad.. Suddenly it stopped working.

Went to see the fuse and its blown, replaced it with a new one and instantaneously blow once I open Key pos II. So I think the invertor died.
With the price of a new Inverter I think I am out of OEM 120V Outlet http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/a...erter-unit-a-c

Any thoughts?

Check the socket itself for any abnormalities, bent tabs, burnt spots to where its grounding itself

Do I have to tear apart the center console? or the socket itself pops out inside the center box?

you might be able to get access to it after removing the sides of the console.

Alrighty will try this today.. What exactly I am looking for with the socket? Melted ends? somethings disconnected or making a bad ground?

Now I am not an electrician but it seems to look okay to me? No burnt smell or anything...

The fuse under the hood keeps blowing anyway...
What is the 10A one? it only says "A/C" but no other stuff inside the cabin is malfunctioning.. If that one was out would not prevent blowing the Under the hood fuse?
I will check it tomorrow because I don´t have any more fuses laying around anyway I blew them all.. I kept testing with less amperage for safety (15A or 10A) but now I am out of fuses.

Interested in results... have a similar issue in my RSX for years and never rectified it. My dome light blows bulbs and my cigarette light doesn't work (pops fuses instantly)
