2009 MDX AUTOSTART remote control is extremely insensitive

The remote control of my car is not original, but AUTOSTART. Most of the time, when I press the unlock or lock button of the remote control, it always takes a long time for the car's lock to respond, usually at least 5 seconds or more. Why is that? What is the problem?
I've tried replacing the battery with a new one and the problem hasn't improved.
