The reception on my remote is very weak especially when I am on the rear. I checked the battery, it is fine. Any of you had this problem before? Do you re-programming may help? I will try it this weekend.

Replace the battery. Even though it has enough juice to unlock the doors from near the car, it may not have enough to unlock it from farther away.

 

currently, and always have had pretty bad remote reception. hold it under ur chin... it helps a little.

 

Is this the problem everywhere or just at work or home? If you have fresh batteries, then it might be interference from other radio-wave using devices in the immediate area.

There's an area in my downtown for a few blocks where my remote doesn't work 1/2 the time and I have to lock it manually, but it's fine everywhere else.

 

yes there is another specific location where it does not work at all.
