So I walk out to my car today. Driver side headlight is filled with water and the ballast is shot.

The past three days I've been chiseling away at the sound deadening using a hammer and a screw driver. It's probably the slowest way to get rid of it but I don't care. I'm curious how much all of it is going to weigh. I put all of the chips in some cups and will weigh them. After it's all gone I'm gonna paint the metal white. Should look a lot better. And I sat in the rear of the TL yesterday for a bit while I rested and it was a unique experience. Felt kind of nice back there lol.

Yeah that's probably what I will end up doing for the floorboard section for sure. Acura laid down a primer coat of paint which is that brownish green color and then the sound deadener and then they spray the white on top of it. Most of the other cars in the tutorials have the paint under the sound deadening so I wonder if it's sticking to the metal at a greater level in the TL compared to those cars where paint was laid under the sound deadening.

Today has been eventful:

-Tire rotation at Discount Tire

- I changed my air filter today.... said Honda on it and had a TON of dirt build up. It makes me wonder if that has ever been changed....? Put a K&N filter in to help with fuel economy and overall engine performance.

Spark Plugs, Oil Change, new headlight ballast, and resealing the headlight, all done tomorrow night. On sunday, a good detail before my trip to Charleston for a mini vacation.

EGR Purge Solenoid Next week.

Car is starting to run great!

Do any of you guys get angry on 485 outer right after you go under the nations ford bridge? The road irregularity is ridiculous right there when you're about to go over that bridge transition.

I think the leaves will be prime around Oct 25 according to peoples instagram photos from last year. I am planning to visit this Linville Cove viaduct either on the 25th or 26th. Anyone interested in going? I want to make a video of the TL hitting vtec on this particular section of the bridge. I believe this photo was taken from a trail that goes along the parkway. It would be cool to get a photo of a convoy of cars on it as well. What do you guys think?!

Yeah that's probably the one I'm talking about. I say fuck damn shit everytime I hit it. And there is no not hitting it either.

Oh and I just got vtekked hard on by an anthracite 3rd gen on 85. Dude was in it to win it. I had passed him and then he saw my TL and must have got excited or something and started matching my speed (which was ferocious as usual) And then a white X5 started playing speed match. And then i fell behind them shortly and blew around them in my sneaky side route near Efland. The TL jumped back on me and then he just straight laid into vtec and left me. It was hilarious. I think it was just a stock TL with an ambitious driver. It was pretty awesome lol.



And tomorrow there is a car meet from 12-4 at Italian at 7th. I would imagine some higher end cars will be there. I guess Eurowise Mike is a part owner of it or something.

It's dying! I went to get it and when I tried pressing the shutter release it wouldn't open. It said [CHA] I haven't looked to see what that means but it's not charge because the battery life was fine. It might be time to upgrade.

I'm headed to Charleston for a few days so I wont be there.

Its Maria's first trip after her big maintenance overhaul. Hoping for 30-35mpg on the highway. We will see!

My parents are already there. They HEAVILY advised I do the speed limit. Said they saw about 15 people getting tickets from Charlotte to Columbia.
