Yeah, cool hanging out with you guys. Weather was nice and refreshing . Except the drizzle.

Sorry about your friend Eric. I myself have had some bad experiences in my younger partying days with drugs. But one day I woke up and went cold turkey and turned to cars to keep me busy and out of trouble.

And I just chill out with my music that I really love. That's where I got my screen name BF, I like mostly club music with good beats. Trap step , dub step , chill step , house , trance , rave bassline , garage , breakbeats etc .

Good to see you all earlier!

I stayed and competed in the cloud competition. Got eliminated in my first round. Still fun to watch people blow clouds thick enough you cant see their faces from 5 ft away.

Anyone go to the UNCC meet tonight?

Penguin how did you get kicked out of AcuraCrew and what kind of after party are they trying to setup for after Tuner Evolution? I am sure there will already be an official after party for it.

hi-
just brought my 2015 RDX home-
wondered what you thought of body side moldings? I wanted them but they didn't install so now I have a second chance! If you think I should get them- OEM or aftermarket? Painted or chrome!
THANKS!

I got kicked out after the moderator at the time didn't think I was being active enough on the page

Me: Why was I removed from the ACNC group?

Mod: My CEO wants active members, if your gonna be active then I'm cool with adding you on.

Me: Wow. No warning or anything? It had been maybe 2 days since I checked in there. I've been busy with work and haven't had a lot of downtime. No need to add me back. By being so strict, you're limiting the overall reach and potential members. Have fun with your meets.

Mod: Thumbs up.

So then I messaged the "CEO"...

Me: I'm disappointed to see that I was removed from the ACNC group due to "not being active enough". I had no warning or indication that I wasn't being active enough before being removed. I liked photos and commented on things when appropriate. While I understand the goal of the group was to have a tight-knit community, removing someone just a few weeks after their entry with no warning or communication before or during isn't right and doesn't seem very "family-like". Maybe have a discussion with your moderators and create a procedure or make guidelines about when removing someone from the group is appropriate. Considering I've been involved with the Acura community for over 6 years and have set up meets in the past, this is a huge slap in the face for me.

Mod: I'm glad u came to talk to me and addressed concerns. Could there be any other reason the officials would wanted to remove u?

Me: Not that I'm aware of. In no way did I talk down to anyone or make rude comments. I've been busy with work this week and haven't been on Facebook as much as usual. Because of my lack of activity on the page, I was removed with no warning. I don't want re-entry into the group. I just want you to be aware of what happened and prevent it from happening to others in the future.

Mod: Ok I appreciate that. Sorry how things have worked out tho. Not how I want things to go but I know issues are gonna be part of this club. They just have to be settled in the right way.

This was back in August so I have no clue what the plans are for after TE.

was that Dontrell Sullivan or David Sinclair? I've called out Dontrell before on an unfair decision....

My one wheel goes off to refinishing tomorrow. I'll be bringing the coilovers home this weekend to start cleaning them up, making sure everything is in good working order.

Tyler, could I borrow your spanner wrenches for the Megan's?

Also, I realized that I need an Upper strut tower brace because the adjustment knobs are not accessible with the factory one. Is that something I can drive without, or is it pretty necessary?

Daniel.

And sure, come and get them!

You can drive without the brace but it's there for a reason. I wouldn't drive without it for an extended period of time.

Any recommended STB's that I should get?

I know there is RV6 and fastline available at heeltoe auto.

I see for the accord a Megan racing, DC, GTspec and a few others...

thoughts?

I don't know what's available for your car, but I'd suggest you get one that has zero pivot points. A straight bar is best, but slight bends are OK.

Basically you want something like this:

Not this:

I haven't even been paying attention to what people are running in the TL for strut tower bars. I sort of remember rv6 making one.

Here are two that are available.

Fastline Performance Solid Tower Brace, 2004-08 Acura TL & TL-S UA6 UA7 (EDFC Compatible) - HeelToe Automotive

RV6 Performance Front Strut Tower Bar, 2004-08 Acura TL & TL-S UA6 UA7 - HeelToe Automotive

edit: Just saw your post that you already knew about these.

Dang didn't know acn was that serious. Seem pretty relax at the meet but who all know what going on between the people running it. I feel we have a decent amount of heavy hitter here lol, we'll maybe not heavy but we all certainly dump $$$$$ in all our car on good parts. Hell I never thought I'll pay 100$ on center caps but I did. Just to complete the look. Not knocking acn just if your strict on the group need to shell out some good looking cars. Always envy team hybrid, they always have cars in magazine and grew from friends and family to having differnt chapter in an handful of states.

Side note tyler or anybody who have knowledge on the new 2014 is250f any problem or odd thing about the car? Probably be picking up one If I qualify with low payments.

HAHA, Ben and I talked about it a few weeks ago, but he never told me what color he was gonna wrap it. He told me it was a secret. But yes, a shoot will soon come!

Nice job Ben! Only thing missing is more pics

Did you wrap it yourself? How much did it run for all the materials? I want to wrap the wagon at some point, just haven't decided on a color.

yeah i did it myself, my girlfriend helped with the heatgun and holding the material as i did it. total cost was around $550. the knifeless finish line tape is a must for double cut/butt joints. 5x50 feet for all panels and 5x4 feet for roof. took a good 24 hours to do, started on saturday (thinking it was a 5-6 hour project lol) and finished sunday night.

it was a toss up between the satin white and this 3M matte gray aluminum Sam87 E46 M3 Vert - Page 7 - The M3cutters - UK BMW M3 Group Forum

Ben. Thank you. This is how I like to log in after returning from a funeral. The CL looks amazing and I'm shocked. I had no idea you were going to go this far with changes. I was thinking you would be modding the headlights and that was it but DAYUUUMMM!

Where did you order the vinyl from? Still haven't decided if I'm gonna do the roof or not.

Well..... my projects have been cut short for the time being.

Got a speeding ticket tonight on I77.... 79 in a 55.... right where it drops from 65 to 55 near sunset road/metrolina expo exit.

So my question is this, get a lawyer and try to fight to get it lowered, or go in and negotiate to get it lower myself? Whats going to be the best option, for the best outcome.

I am trying to get a new job, and at this point the 2 jobs I am trying for, both request a clean driving record.

Thoughts?
