Type 1's are way better. Anyways...mail guy just dropped off them bulbs...the resistors should come tomorrow. Although I ordered them around the same time and the resistors are closer to where I live. Man I was hoping to do an install today!

just install the bulbs today, it wont hurt the bulbs or anything and itll still look better than OEM. it wont save you any time doing both at the same time cuz the resistors go into the trunk

I guess you have a point. Maybe I'll do it today. Being 16, I stay at home all day til like 9 at night, so I have all the time to do mods.

Its a bit involved---you need to install resistors and the bulbs themselves. No need to remove the headlights/bumper, though. I'd say 4 out of 10 or so.

Schwein,
Check here: http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning-Fix/c132273/
Resistors fix the "hyper-flash" that LED turn signal will do.

Clearing the amber diffusers involves opening the headlights. Pretty involved but there are plenty of threads on clearing headlights. You could also pay to have them done---JnC and AckTL05 are two vendors who can help.

There are two types of switchback bulb---one lights white-amber-white while blinking and the other shines white and blinks amber-off-amber.

It appears that the Tritons are plug and play. Considering stock HIDs are 4300k, go with the 5000k set.

What's the name of the yellow plastic piece in the headlight. I was trying to bring it to its original color back with a spray, removing the yellow but did not work. Now I'm looking to replace it but with a clear one. I just can't seem to get the name of it to search it. Someone PLEASE HELP!!!!

They're called diffusers, and you can contact AckTL05 for them.

He has bins full of them from doing headlight work.

If you want clear diffusers, you will need to buy them from UniqueStyleRacing or klearz. If you're lucky you can find OEM Type-S ones.
