Whoa whoa what's the deal with Infiniti photos appearing in my thread????
I installed the non-MDS tune this morning. Drove around a little bit and it is definitely less herky-jerky (sp?) not going in and out of 4 cylinder mode. And of course the vibration is gone. I guess I can get used to it.

Anyway, glad to hear the vibration is gone, hopefully now you will be able to enjoy the exhaust..

Whelp the Corsa is coming off this weekend and the FM is going back on. Final decision, I think lol. Even with MDS off the Corsa just isn't speaking to me. With how much I spent on it, if it's not making me completely happy then it's obviously a clear sign it's time to recoup some of the monies I spent on it and go back with the FMs that I wasn't unhappy with. I already have someone interested. He's in Canada so shipping for him will suck, but apparently it's minimum $2,200 USD for a new Corsa shipped up there.

And sorry you're not liking it. They've just never done anything for me on the Chargers/Challengers. They never sounded like the right "pitch" for a muscle car.

Truth. I expected soooooo much more from the sound to vindicate the price. To me it might as well have been a Magnaflow catback (not that I have anything against them, I've had a few of their catbacks and enjoyed them) or cherry bomb glass packs. There's just nothing special and distinctive about the sound for what kind of cash you pay for them. I know some people detest Flowmasters, but I grew up a Mustang fanboy and loved FMs on a 5.0. Granted it's not 100% the same sound with the Charger, but it's that distinctive growl and burble that I enjoy. This was kind of an expensive experiment on my part, but like you said, there's a big market for Corsas and I'm not in a rush.

Sold the TB already? Wasn't playing nice? Or do you mean your stock TB?
What brand cut outs are you going to go with? A catch can is always a wise investment, especially with a FI'd car.

Remember...I had Flowmaster Super 44's and ran pipe all the way back to the tips. No resonators.

Aha I didn't realize they had a wireless option. That'd be nice. I figured QTP is sort of the go to brand for cutouts. The only thing I'd worry about is them leaking or the motors dying. I know both happen, though I wonder if those cases are typically when someone opens or closes them when on the throttle?

As I was taking the Corsa off I discovered one of the clamps connecting the x-pipe to the passenger side muffler was completely loose. I was mostly done at that point so I continued to take it off and put the FM back on. Got in the car and went for a ride. Conclusion. Damn now the FM sounds so quiet and non-aggressive! OMG I have issues!!! Now I'm wondering if the loose clamp was what was causing the rattle inside the cabin and if there was a slight leak causing the tone to not be to my liking. WTF. So now I'm considering putting the Corsa back on and seeing if that changes my mind. Am I crazy or what???

Definitely still on the list, but if I find after reinstalling the Corsa that I'm happy with it, then there might not be a need for them since it is LOUD when WOT.

We're just joshin' ya bud.
IMO, just take a few hours and see what happens. If it were me, it would always be on the back of my mind

It went back on this afternoon. I'll give it a few weeks and see how it pans out. I am thinking now that I like the volume level of the Corsa since the FMs seemed almost too quiet. God I'm a terrible decision maker.

Well at least you have both at this point to be able to make your decision. Is the sound different his time with all the clamps tight?

No, not really any different sounding, just no more rattle, so far at least. Haven't test driven it very much yet.
