From July after Spain's World Cup win... This used to get 1-5 views/day in flickr until I added it to a "girls with hairy arms" group... getting lots more views now... Who knew people were into that!

the 3rd girl's eyes were fawked - closed and just weird looking - but otherwise this was the best such shot I had out of the others. So I took the eyes from the 4th girl and copied em to the 3rd's. lol

IMO, panning at 1/60 is borderline unless you have good technique and IS. I would go slightly faster, but alot of this also depends on car speed.

Nice, I assume that is taken from the Empire State? We were choosing between that or going up to the top of Rockefellar. She really wanted to go to the "Top of the Rock" so it won out. Can't say I'm too dissapointed as we were able to capture some of the the Empire State Building, like this:

On the top of the rock is a way better view of nyc since you can see the empire as well =)

No, there was really no wait. We were there on Thursday. It was Veteran's Day, might be worse on the weekend. I was amazed how fast the elevator was. It shot us up 67 floors in about 30 seconds max.

Yeah. I was a little upset at first about not going up the Empire State Building until we got up to the top of the rock. Once I saw the view of the Empire State Building on one side, and Central Park on the other side, I was happy we went that route. I wish I could get a better shot of the Statue of Liberty that you can vaguely see in that pic. Even with my 300mm I just could get a good picture. The sunlight was right over the Empire State Building so that entire side was proving a challenge for me.

Oops, I thought the site resizes the pictures to fit the screen for some reason. If a mod wants to resize this so its not so big thats ok with me.

Yea there is never a line on the top of the rock and both places are the same price. I think going up the empire is overrated... There is always a line from 30-1 or more.

Yes, back in July. It was built in 3 days right next to the new LEGO store.

Pretty cool. With your angle, it sorta looks huge in the shot. Took me a second to realize it was actually sitting on that stone. Nicely done.
