Rumor has it there might be a Flagship Acura Concept at the New York Auto Show. So Im hoping to see a new RL with the Earth dreams technology. I haven't heard anything about a fresh on the ZDX. It would be nice to see though.

If I were a betting man, I would say there will be no '13 ZDX.

From what I heard from my dealer friend is that the RL, or whatever it will be called, will be a BMW 7 Series fighter. I do not see it being any more popular than the RL is now, which is not saying a lot; especially if the MSRP starts around $70K. 2013 looks like a make or break year for Acura as a standalone brand.

I could be wrong about the refresh, that's just what I heard on the grapevine(twitter).

I don't think it will end with 2012 though, too much money spent on developing the ZDX for just a short run. Plus it launched in China just a few months ago.

Wow, did not know the ZDX was being sold in China. Thanks for the update. I guess China is a good place to get rid of inventory since I read that China will add 10,000,000 vehicles to their roads this year. It must be costing Honda/Acura a ton to ship to China. Yes, it cost Honda/Acura many millions to develop the ZDX, but the bottom line is still the bottom line. Any remaining ZDX's will be sold at a big discount an/or disassembled for parts.

There's no way Acura will discontinue ZDX. Indeed it is sold in China and in 2014 Acura is expected to officially come to Russia where BMW X6 is extremely popular and ZDX (as well as MDX and RDX) will definitely show good sales.

The Honda Crosstour "concept" is supposed to be refreshed and shown at the New York Autoshow but probably not the ZDX. The new flagship is the RLX sedan that will be debuted. With a total 2011 year end sales of only 1,564 ZDXs, its unlikely Honda/Acura will make an investment in any significant updates to the ZDX other than possibly minor restyling of the grill, taillamps, etc. I've had mine ZDX for 2 year and just love the unique bold futuristic styling, performance and handling.

I was told at the Detroit auto show that a refresh is in order. ZDX won't be discontinued. But who knows nowadays.

ZDX definitely won't be discontinued until it hits 6-7 years and if sales will be completely poor
I personally love this car for its unique style, thats the main reason I bought it, and I expect refreshed model to bring some new nice feats
