Protecting the leather from baby seats
I have a 2.5 yr old and another due in April. My ZDX is their secondary mod of transport but I still need to put a front facing seat and a base for the newborn's rear facing one. I would like to know if snyine on this forum has any insight or advice as to what products might make a good tool to protect the leather bench from getting beat up with with wear and indents.
Leather is black. Any help would be awesome.

^^what he said.
i have a CPO'd MDX...the previous owner left the indentations in the 2nd rows seats from the kid seats. throw a thick towel under the seats, then strap the seats in.

Thanks Justn and TLtrigirl, a towel might work for the bottom, but the front facing car seats have a back that go all the way up to just under the headrest so you can anchor them on top. The belt goes under the headrest and when you tighten it leaves indents. It happened on my Altima. As for the rear facing one, you also have to tighten it and then consider the rub and wear that the back part of the seat (not the bottom) takes any time you click the carrier in an out of it. The towel might may not be as effective.
Anyone else has ideas or, even better, experience with a product that worked for them?

pad the straps of the front facing one (kind of like the seatbelt pad-that sheepskin/lamswool pad). the rear facing one....pad the back of the car seat that will contact the back of the baby car seat or pad the back of the baby car seat that will contact the back of the car seat. velcro, adhesive felt strips...1/2" foam pad covered in felt. almost kind of like the bumper guard thing just for the back of the seat in the car let that hang from the back from the headrest.
i'm thinking out the box here and being creative. certainly something can be made from some crafts store materials (inexpensively) OR perhaps something might be out there on the market.

I don't know about the baby seats but I use acura seat armour for my drivers seat after im done with the gym to try to keep my from smelling bad haha. its really easy to use and can be washed easily. its not permanent so I can take it off after im clean again.

Thanks everyone. Just ordered the EB for the infant base and the duomat for the front facing one from target.com. I will let you know if I encounter issues.
