I have a 2010 ZDX Tech. Do all of them have under dash LED's? If so, when they heck do they come on?

 

I think they all have. They come on when the headlights come on. At night with the headlights on take a look under your dash by your feet. Its really dim but its there.

This mod makes them as bright as the ambient center lighting by the eye glass holder.

 

I want to thank you very much for posting this here. I was bored and was reading the forum about an hour ago and decided to do this to the ZDX. Its a great mod for the price, FREE

I have some before and after photos to show you all. Keep in mind the before shot was shot with a little bit of day light left so you cant even see the light in this picture. I cant even see these damn LEDs at night anyway, which is why I did the mod.

The after picture is much brighter in the photo compared to seeing it in real life. Its bright enough to make a difference but not enough to annoy you.

Just got in from the garage from doing my led mod. It took a whopping ten minutes at most!! I still havent driven the Z at night but will tomorrow to see how it looks now. Thank you so much for posting the mod Hawaii. I promised the wife that is the only mod I will do and will not fall into the mod madness like my Porsche.
