LEDs again! This time stop-lights too

I upgraded my LEDs once again. This time I put new switchbacks from here
http://www.vleds.com/bulb/3157-3156-...-pair-b-o.html
It is my second set of these exact bulbs cus one of them from my first set died within 3 days. But I must admit that it shines alright! Perfect color match with the rest of their stuff. DRL LEDs are discontinued model but still works perfect. I was about to change them for new 10-LED bulbs when I found out that Vleds sent me HB4 9006 instead of HB3 9005. Now I have to deal out with replacement and thats not good because of overseas shipping. Here is how it looks now.

And finally I modded tail lights, which I planned to do for a while because stock bulbs in there are disgusting. I decided to try Vleds V3 Triton bulbs despite of their horrendous price of 100$. Also I replaced side marker bulbs with 10-LED red bulbs to increase their brightness. Installing V3 Triton was a pain in the ass, to say the least. All because there is little to no space between the tail lights and chasis. Bulb itself is plug & play and pretty easy to install, but it took me one hour of trying to put the lights back in place with all new wires and sockets, I still can't tell what part of it was blocking the way. So if I ever have to remove the lights its gonna be a challenge again.
But the result is really nice. Those bulbs are noticably brighter than stock so now I may even tint the tails a little. I just hope they don't die soon because there have been a lot of complaints and failures with them.
I can officially say that my tail lights are 100% LED now

for user rejipic - your inbox is full and i cant PM you

Answering your question:
As for Vleds bulbs here is what I use:

1) DRL - 9005_10_XB_W_5K. Only thing you need for them is load resistors. You can get them on ijdmtoy.com

2) Front parking light/turn signal - 3157_42_WA2_CK_5K. You also need load resistor for them. You can get them on ijdmtoy.com too

3) For license plate light I use 194_5_3C_W_5K

4) For rear side markers I use 194_10_CP_R

5) For brake lights I use V3_R and V3_BASE_7443. This is red V3 Triton bulb with 7443 wiring (not 7443 CK)

6) For reverse I ordered V3_W_5K with V3_BASE_G2_7443 wiring. Havent received them yet

Sandro,

This item number does not show up on Vleds website...is it a different number?

4) For rear side markers I use 194_10_CP_R

Oh they added standard and CAN-bus proof option. I I have CAN-bus proof but both should do for Acura. Here is the link http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/minia...25-1-pair.html

big thumbs up for this post. I ended up putting opt7 led bulbs in the fog lights and drl (with resistors). These led bulbs have a high output lighting that was brighter than the stock fog light bulbs that came in a stock maxima (my previous ride). I also ended up putting super white bulbs into the turn signal/parking light and vled 194 for the license plate...

Wait until dusk, then turn your parking lights on and walk around the back. You'll see them.

How do you access the bulbs in the taillights? Unable to find anything.

Also, does the 7443 led require a resistor?

You must have not searched this forum? I just found this link: https://acurazine.com/forums/acura-z...-bulbs-905440/ Sandro provided the answer.

Question... Have you replaced the bulbs in your taillights? Because it's not clear the way it's explained by Sandro in that. I tried doing it just now and literally had no idea what to do after removing the 2 screws. I'd rather see an owners manual picture or something.

YES. I have replaced a bulb in the right side tail assembly when I first got my ZDX.

What you are struggling with are the pins (circled in red below). They are strong fasteners, and considering they haven't been touched since the car was assembled they're going to be stubborn.

You can search You Tube for how to replace a MDX tail light since I didn't find a ZDX one. You will see the holding force of those pins.

I finally got them off. Ended up breaking the plastic tab thing where the two screws go...oh well. They were on there pretty good
