How Long Do You Plan on Keeping Your Z?
Just curious, how long does everyone plan on keeping your ZDX? I only drive about 7,500 miles per year so I plan on keeping mine for at least 10+ years. I think it has just the right combination of exterior styling and a nice enough interior to sustain the test of time. Nice job Acura.

This is something I'm actively trying to decide right now, as I leased my ZDX (for a really good price... roughly $550/month, $0 down and no first months payment, and an attractive purchase price of around 28k at end of lease). My lease ends in February. I want to decide now if there is a replacement so I can test drive these cars in the summer.
So far, I haven't found anything. As a single 25 year old, the MDX, Lexus RX, and Audi Q7 is too "family"-y. I've been contemplating the TLX or Lexus GS, but I really wanted something with ground clearance for the winter months because I work nights in a hospital setting and enjoy making it to work before the snow plows come out. Not really a fan of the drive feel of german cars (BMW, Audi, etc). So for Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura...the ZDX is it.
Although, I have been actively looking at the Lexus NX because my only dissatisfaction has been with the MPG of the ZDX. The hybrid of the Lexus NX might be kind of interesting, but I'm not sure how I feel about a drop in power or to go down to the "RDX-level." I think I might be with Martein in saying that I'd wait for an MDX hybrid. Honda/Acura seems to have a nice hold on me. The other option for me is to purchase the ZDX and then get a coupe for fun for the summer months .
Not to hijack the thread, but I'd be interested to see what people would be switching to if they weren't keeping the ZDX long or what else they would be considering. It's a very niche vehicle, I assume there is a variety of cars that people would switch to.

I'll keep mine until something else "shiny" catches my eye.... If the RLX SH-Hybrid is reliable, I'll probably pick up one of those, unless the TLX SH-Awd is kick-a$$, then maybe that. On the other hand, it might not be an Acura.
The Audi RS5 in Panther Black Crystal paint is breathtaking with the Blackout package, but it's also $80 with the ceramic brake package. But that color is just stunning.

If I somehow change my mind a couple of years from now, I would consider a certified pre-owned Lexus GS 350 F-Sport, or an RLX Advance. If I keep the Z and want a second vehicle I would probably buy a new Accord Sport or certified pre-owned Accord Touring.

The Lexus GS 350 F-Sport is very attractive. It's really fun to drive too. But yes, I don't think it will be possible to find something as nice as the ZDX anymore. Just thinking about parting with it gives me anxiety. I will probably be purchasing it after the lease.

I think that a good choice, I live in Minnesota Winter and it nasty over here, having a car that look good and drive nice in Winter, well hard to beat that. The Lexus GS is nice, I know a couple of my friend who have it so nah, I rather be different.

Is yours a Tech or Advance?

Agreed! MN winter is even worse... definitely nice to look good. And it definitely dominates the snow!

I am with you, MisterZDX. Bought in January 2012 and have put on 19k since, just about 7500 miles a year. I love driving it. Only problem is I have to bring it back out for a TPMS check (third time). I might just have them change them all this time. Other than that, car is mint. It fits the little ones, it drives nice and it turns heads. I think I will keep it for a long time. I am glad they stopped making them. My cousin has a 2007 Benz that still looks brand new. He takes care of it really well.
