The webpage for A Better Route Planner is unclear, but can the ZDX "connect" to ARBP? In particular, can ARBP be told of the current state-of-charge of the battery, and can it trigger a fast charging battery prep as you approach a charging station on your trip? I went through the connect steps but it was never clear that it succeeded. And, it's not showing correct SOC. Not sure if I did something wrong, or if it is not supported.

 

On my car, it does not automatically precondition the battery, but the SOC displayed seems accurate and updated on-the-fly. Occasionally I see 1% difference, and chalk it up to rounding difference.

 

Interesting. I must have not completed the setup correctly, as ABRP does not reflect current state of charge for me. Will try again.

 

Still can't get ABRP to give current state-of charge. I am a premium subscriber too. When in the app on my iPhone I hit the button to link to my vehicle and I get this page. What do I do with this token though?

 

I only use ABRP without any login. Maybe that is why the app works?

 

If you are not logged into ABRP with a premium subscription, then it doesn't work with CarPlay.
