Zaino Z-16 for that black dash?

Can you guys think of any detrimental effects of using Z-16 (Perfect tire gloss, although it's not glossy) on the black dash of the 3rd Gen TLs? I've tried it on a few inconspicuous areas and things seem ok, but am a little hesitant about doing it all.

Hmm...interesting. I've not used it on dash yet. However, 303 Aerospace protectant is such a great product, with great result on 3rd gen dash thant I've not used or explored anything else.

I don't think Z16 is designed for interior use. I stick with 303 on the interior dash.

Well, not specfically since I've not used Z-16 yet. However, I think I'd probably use something that's designed something specifically designed for vinyl rather something dsidgned for use on rubber tires. 303 Aerospace or Vinylex are good choices -- among many others.

Question for you folks. I've noticed in our new TL that the natural (black) color of the dash is pretty flat (non-glossy). I wonder if that was intentional to keep the reflection in the windshield down. If so, does the protectant you mention (303 Aerospace) increase the gloss?

If so, any notable increase in reflection?

303 won't increase the gloss. Just use it sparingly. If you use more, it will have a glossy appearance. That's what's nice about 303...it's "controllable".
There is no increased reflection when I use 303 on my dash.
If you do use too much though, it may evaporate and end up hazing the windshield.

Thanks. Appreciate the reply. I'll look for some 303 locally.

That is true. I'm having that problem on one corner of my windshield now.
