Zaino vs. Meguiar's

http://pages.sbcglobal.net/gheumann/zaino_test/

All credit goes to Greg Heumann, The guy that tested the products and reviewed them. I just stumbled upon it since I use Meguiar's and heard alot about Zaino and thought it was interesting.

Too bad its flawed ... with Zaino you wait 24 hours ( as with any sealant ) unless you use the ZFX with the Z2 or Z5 then you can do 3 coats right in succession.

Also a comparrrison like this should be done on properly polished out and prepped paint.

Gold Class is also won't last anywhere near as long as Zaino.

Zaino Z5 won't hide any more than the most minor micro marring .. never mind swirls .

This is Zaino on a propperly prepped and polished out black car ... CG won't do this.

Zaino on polished out white

I really hate these types of comparisons. They serve no real purpose since there are too many variables involved.

There are many excellent products out on the market. The bottom line is that quality products applied with quality techniques will yield quality results.

Gotta agree with Jess & Sweet . . . to get the most out of any product, the painted surface should be free of any defects and imperfections. As the saying goes, "95% prep, 5% product" or something like that. Every product mentioned here will have a group of faithfuls whether it be Zaino, FS, Pinnacle, Optimum or whatever. If you like the end result, continue to use it.

I use nothing but Zaino on all of my cars. I've tried lots of others and nothing compares in my opinion. People will disagree but it's a matter of preference.

Here are my previous cars with the Zaino shine!

Excellent choice in products...those cars look immaculate. My NSX is a Zaino recipient...a must for a black car.

my problem with Zaino is the car ends up a magnet for pollen and air dust. i can Zaino one circle on my hood and at the end of the day that area is more heavily covered with pollen or dust than the rest of the hood. and that's with using the Zaino spritzer after every app...Z6?

How is it after 1 wash tho once the static attraction is gone... always gone for me ... I have experienced this with more products than just Zaino.

true, but the last thing i want to do...or can do is wash the car after already washing, claying, washing and Z'ing several times. I know, stop b!tching and just do the work, it's worth it.
