Zaino Triplets

Anyone try out the new Z-Trip package? Just wondering how well it works compared to the old Z-2pro, etc.

Saw it at the Zaino store the other day. The CS looks like an interesting product. Word is Optimum will have a similar product in the near future. Regardless of what you use, surface prep is a key factor that ensures the final result.

I used Z5pro and topped it with the new Zaino Clear Seal last week. The results were very impressive. My NBP '05 TL's paint had a deeper shine than ever before using a Zaino product - it gives a deep shine look more like a good carnauba wax IMHO. I used to put P21s on top of Zaino.

The application of CS was a bit weird at first as you use so little, applying a VERY thin coat. I used too much the first time as there were smudges that I had to wipe away with some Z8. Next time I know to use much less. However I'm very pleased with the results.

I have been looking @ this as well. Will have to try it out this spring. Yakuza70, how did you like the P21s over the Zaino? Were there issues putting it on? I love Zaino for the looooong lasting protection, but wish there was just more of a deeper shine...

P21s went on with no problems. The shine was deep and wet but it didn't last very long - about 2 weeks on my car - parked outside. The work to put on P21s vs. the longevity wasn't worth it in the long run, especially compared to Zaino. I guess I'll soon find out how long the deep shine of the CS lasts.

Z-CS is my favorite seal from Zaino. After you Z-CS, do a QD with Z-8. Looks are even better!

How long do you guys wait before applying Z-8 on the Z-CS?

Most people tend to wait 8-12 hours to let the ZCS cure. The first time I used ZCS I didn't wait and put a layer of Z8 right on top with no apparent adverse effects. Now, I just put a layer of Z6 as it seems to wipe away easier after a layer of ZCS. I save using Z8 for after washes when I don't plan on adding any other layers of Zaino.
