You may be killing your car's paint and not knowing it!

how do you wash your car?
with a sponge? with a brush? or do you go to coin operated or drive thru car washes?
if you do any of these methods you may be leaving thousands of tiny scratches all over your paint and not know it until it is too late.
try to stay away from drive thru and coin operated car washes because most of them recycle the water and have little particles which can scratch your paint, dirty water in simplest terms.
if you wash your car in your driveway you want to stay away from car brushes because the bristles catch the dirt, much like a toothbrush, and drag it along your paint while you wash. ask yourseld why you would want to do that.
DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD SPONGES! these are not made for a automobile, only your house! you want to use a automobile washing mit or automobile sponge. make sure your mits are made of cotton or microfiber.

Obvious as it is, we should all know this information.

I don't think there is anyone on this forum that actually uses these materials to wash their car, being the detail freaks that we are

Griot's products are some of the best on the market, that's why they are so exspensive. Very good product by a very good company!

my sponges...

sponge for the car...holds a crapload of soap&water...notice how many holes it's got to funnel out dirt

sponge for the rims...holds a lot and is a little firmer to get more stubborn dust/dirt/etc off

Unless it says 100% cotton on the label, it's not. They make two versions of it, 1 is, 1 is not.
