Scratch

washed cart got strached hood how to fix fast!!!!!!

ok sry bout that earlier i was a lil pissed......well heres what happened my sis thought is be nice to wash my car for me and she wanted it to be perfect so she used yup u guessed dishwashing liquid and one of those rough kitchen sponges(shes a blonde).........now theres like 20 swirly scratches all of my car how do i get them off??????

How deep are the scratches??? I've had pretty good success with ScratchX from Meguiars but the scratches have to be pretty shallow, almost hairline. You can find ScratchX pretty much anywhere, even Target.

It's worth a shot, IMHO. Although, I don't know how "severe" these scratches are you're referring to.

well we tried wax and some short of scrtch remover........its not too deep....but still noticeable

just keep trying to buff it out, after a while it should start to fade away but if it doesn't take a toothpick and your touchup paint and dip the tip of it in the paint. lightly apply it to the scratch, let it dry and then buff it to a shine.

Meg's makes a Fine Cut, Medium Cut cleaner waxes to be used with a buffer. Try those...if you get a Fine Cut, doing it 3-4 times is the equilavent of a medium cut.

wet sanding cost too much to do professionally. you are better off just using meg's fine cut and then buffing it out
