chenille covered wash pad is the best - although there are new microfibre wash pads that are supposed to be even better.

Stay away from those polyester yellow "sheepskin" mitts.....they will cause minor micro swirling and scratches. I use a 100% cotton viking wash mit,....

I use these crazy feeling towels specially made for washing. Made in the USA. They are like a flouresent blue and green color. Really soft. Like $4.50 for 2 @ Wal-Mart.

Depending on where on the car:

Natural sheepskin mitts -- one for upper parts of car, one for lower panels.

Natural sponge -- rocker panels

Boar and OXY Brand brushes for:

tires
wheels
gentle car wash (when I don't feel like picking debris out of a mitt. A mitt always needs careful cleaning to "sharp" particles out of it. Even the best mitt will scratch a car if you don't pick the hard stuff out of it on each wipe -- what a pain.

I am using the Boar and OXY wheel, tire, and CAR brushes more and more.

For wiping down -- P21 Absorber (or the Pep Boys one -- have both) and Cali Water Blade.

Here is the link to the OXY brushes:

Here is the link to the body brush:

Here is the link to the natural sponge:

BTW -- I have the boar hair brushes for careful work, but I checked these brushes out, and they work just as well (for a fraction of the price). Save your money on the overpriced Boar brushes from Griot's
