What's the best car wash??

Just wanted some opinions. What's better a Hand wash or a Mechanical wash??? I hve a ssm TL and I've been getting a hand wash ever since I bought the car in 05. But hand wash is a lot more expensive. Thinking about switching but I alwys heard that mechanical washes leave stratches after awhile. Want some input

Mechanical can leave sratches and marring after 1 wash .. stay with the hand wash .. better yet do it yourself with the proper stuff.

Oh dang, you need to visit wash and wax more often! We are the anti mechanical wash crew! Once you do it yourself, you will soon learn how bad others have been washing!
I say we get him set up boyz!

Totally do it yourself man. No need to have someone else take care of your car, IMO. Just learn the proper techniques and you'll be set.

How could hand wash be more expensive? It is more time consuming but the result is much better than mechanical wash. I been through 2 mech. car wash, brush ($6) and brushless ($7), and both leave terrible result, ie not clean, especially area close to the side mirrors.

When you have a few moments, go visit the hand wash and watch their technique. See if you can feel what they dry with and inspect what they wash with. How many cars do they wash before they exchange mitts? Ask yourself some questions as to why they do things the way they do!
