Should I use a pre-wax product? Any recommendation please?

If the car is new I don't think you really need to do anything after claying. For older cars you might want to use a cleaner and polish to remove swirls, etc. but if you don't have any of those, I would just say wash the car once more (to clean off any lube left from the claying process and last traces of dust) and then NXT.

If the finish is in good shape you can skip the prep work (or polish) and go straight to wax. But to save yourself some time, clay as your washing the car. This way you dont have to re-wash after claying. Just wash a panel and rinse it and then wipe on more car wash on that area and use that as the lube. Saves money from buying detail sprays for lube too.

What do you want to know? Its easy. Wash the car, dry it, spray the lube and run the clay in striaght lines on the surface of the car. Just turn it in on itself every so often to get a clean surface. Wash again and your ready to polish.

Very good advice! Im going to do this next time instead of using the lube.

If you buy claymagic, you get a bar and the lube for $10.00. So, saving the lube is not that big a deal.

Thank you so much all. I will just wash my car and claying it at the same time. Afterthat, I will put 2 coat of NXT.

How long should I wait in between the 1st coat and 2nd coat of NXT?

Also, can I apply any caranuba wax to make it more shiny after the 2nd coat of NXT?

Is Meg's caranuba wax any good? Thank you so much for all of your time, I really appreciate for your help.

Nothing wrong with cleaner or polish, but in this case since monsterjeff's paint is in good condition (I think his car is just a little over 2 weeks old) it probably isn't necessary. I only polish if the paint needs to be cleaned up. A lot of cleaners also have some abrasive polishes in them, so that usually falls into the same step for me.

monsterjeff, I hear you should wait about 12 hours before applying a second coat of NXT so that the polymers in it will properly cross-link and bond to the car's paint. As for topping, a layer of carnauba wax can help to give the paint some added depth - just avoid the cleaner waxes since they may have some abrasives that will also strip away your newly applied NXT. Meg's #16 Professional Carnauba Paste Wax and #26 Hi-tech Liquid Yellow Wax are good choices, #16 seems to be the better and more durable of the two. Stay away from Meg's Gold Class Wax, it doesn't have very good durability at all.

Thank you again, lokman.

However, I could not find any meg's professional line in store (Pepboys, Autozone). Where can I find these product? Thank you.

People is this forum saying that P21 / S100, which you can buy in Harley dealer, is very good to use. However, is it good to use on top of NXT? Or is it just good for klassia only?? Thank you.

From what I understand, NXT spray wax is not the same as the NXT tech wax. From the product description: 'Meguiar's NXT Generation Spray Wax builds on the results you have already achieved with NXT Generation Tech Wax. It's a spray-on "Booster Wax" that adds protection with superior polymer technology (ESP's) while restoring the deep, dark, wet-look shine. Use it dry for fast touch-ups, or use wet after washing your car to quickly restore the "Just-Waxed" look. Meguiar's NXT Generation Spray Wax can also be used as a quick detailing spray to remove light dust, finger prints and bird droppings.'

monsterjeff - yeah, Meg's professional line can be a pain to find. You can try Meg's own online store or www.properautocare.com. Offline, you might want to try some stores in your area that specialize in body work and paint accessories. If you can't find the Meg's professional line, then P21S/S100 is a very good alternative and you shouldn't have any problem using it on top of NXT. Just make sure you give the NXT at least 12 hours to cure before applying the carnauba.

Thank you again, Lokman. You have been very helpful.

In the 12 hours gap between NXT and P21S/S100, should I wash the car again before apply it if I drive my car out of the garage for some reason? The same questions as for second coat of NXT. Thank you.

I don't think you would need to wash again unless it rained or something, although you might pick up a little bit of dust. If you think it needs to be wiped down, sounds like a good job for NXT spray wax before topping it. Take pics when you're done!
