What do you use to clean your engine bay?

Just looking to get some advice on this. Finally decided to stop being lazy and order all of the o-rings to rebuild my PS pump after months of it vomiting fluid down the side of my engine. While I have the pump off, I want to try to clean that whole side of the engine, because it looks awful. What cleaner do you guys prefer? My dad always used Simple Green, but I'm sure there's something better to try.

Simple Green MOTORSPOORTS, because it specifically states that it is safe on aluminum and rubber. The contents lists really does differ from the normal SImple Green. Available from auto parts stores. I have also used DAWN dish soap cut with water in a spray bottle - its a pretty good gease cutter.

CG's Orange degreaser, realistically any degreaser will work then coat with your preferred plastic dressings, don't get to caught up in the hype.
