As for claying, I went to a local car place and personally grabbed the mothers kit as it was the only stuff there.

All you really have to do is:

1. Spray the surface with the Quick Detail spray they provide.
2. Mold the Clay first in ball, then press on it till it forms into a disk / saucer
3. Then place the mold in your hand, spray a shot on the clay
4. Rub the surface Up / down then left to right, always make sure it glides easily.
5. Wipe off and check the surface, repeat if necessary.

A note on the mothers clay kit, the stuff is pretty fine and it's not super abrasive, but it should take off most contaminants and water spots etc.

IMO let it's do it's thing, I don't give additional pressure on the clay, I move it around until it glides around nicely.

Absolutely not!!!! The clay will do the work.

Pick up some foam detailing swabs to get the areas such as around the emblems. At worst you can clean them with some bathroom cotton swabs but be careful since they can scratch the finish if you are not careful.

At first, you will feel a little resistance and after the 3rd or 4th pass, the clay should just glide over the surface. Always ensure the surface is lubed and excessive lube is better than no lube.

Has anyone used Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant ? I've always used wax, but I think I'm going to try a sealant now. But is this one a good brand?
