get Zaino, it ain't that expensive, given how many coats 1 bottle of Z2 will give you.

Liquid Glass is still a polymer & costs $15 a can...lasts for about 6 or 8 application(2 each time).

Mothers California Gold Carnuba Cleaners Wax. It's like 7.95 at a local auto parts store. Don't let the price fool you, the stuff is amazing. It placed in the top 5 I believe in www.gurureports.com wax test where they tested like 50 types of waxes. Zaino was # 1 but this stuff wasn't far behind at all. I just put a coat on it on my CL because I just got a new paint job and won't have time to zaino it for a little while and i'm AMAZED at the shine it gives.

This stuff is awesome!!

Get the liquid

I'll get the review the gurus wrote on it, they were very very impressed esp. for the price!

To CLpower

Just curious, what did you pay to have your car repainted, and are you pleased with the outcome?

I've used Mothers & was not impressed. LG may not be as lustrous as Zaino, but it beats those others hands down.

:whocares:

Use whatever test you want, as long as your car shines.

just reporting the test, they also stated that the feel that liquid glass is actual Finish First in a different bottle that must cost 2$ more.

The initial shine they gave a C+

Only a few got an A though and Zaino and the Mothers I talked about were not one of them.

never heard of that brand

If Zaino did not get an A in the test...that alone would make me disregard their results.

Zaino didn't get an A on shine it got a B+, it did get an A- overall, the only one w/ an A

Only a few got an A on shine, that was the P21 and it held an A through week 4

edit: going through it the p21 was the only one to get an A for shine, a number got B+.

Zaino's shine lasted through the entire 8 weeks including a snow storm

It's Reflextivity got a B+ on the initial test then held an A- for the rest of the weeks. Along w/ slickness also

you should really get this report, it's a GREAT read and is only $10

That's fairly impressive...8 weeks without a wax job is good.

The D+ in "availability" had a negative effect on the final mark. Can you imagine that? Hard to get?

Hey Homer, welcome back. Haven't seen you in a long time. I think they should re-rate Zaino now that you can buy online.

That test should be redone every 18 months or so with the latest & greatest.

I think the D+ is valid for availability. The majority of the stuff you can walk into just about any auto parts store and get.

Thanks NSXNEXT - winter was a real down time for me up here in Toronto. Danged cold, and I was busy securing new stuff to sell . . needed to expand past Zaino to grow the business.... stayed out of most of the 30 odd forums I visit - except for a few Im actually car-involved with . . F-Body stuff.

I agree - and I know they will re-do the test on a regular basis. They should drop some items from the last test - and certainly include new things that have and will be coming out .

Yeah I've heard good things about NXT. The one thing I did hear from a guy I know at Meguiars that they developed that product to compete specifically with Zaino. Seems Z was taking "A LOT" of business from them. It even has that sweet Zaino-LIKE smell. Let the competition begin.

I think NXT looks like a great consumer product. It is a great cleaner & wax, great shine. But I've seen some people question it's durability.

My brother works in an industrial area, and has to clay every 2-3 months. A 1 step cleaner wax is exactly what he needs. No 2 or 3 step application stuff.

My car gets a garage and short commute in the burbs. My Klasse AIO and SG last a year. I'll try NXT after my Klasse is used up though.
