So you wont be attempting repairs on your own?
Find a detail shop that has a line backed out the door! Ask how they will remove or minimize the spots, and make sure they dont use a glaze. Ask for a Polymer sealant to help avoid this issue in the future. Then come back here, and we will set you up with products and procedures for your own maintenance program,.
Theres a lot of qualified detailers here who can assist your needs.

I just picked up my 06 Anthracite with Parchment. What do you recommend to wax the Acura paints with. On my 86 Porsche I used Zymol, I think this is too natural for this paint. Is there a lacquer finish on this paint?
I am interested in you recommendations for products and procedures. Thanks

I talked to a body shop and they said the car will need to be repainted to get the water spot out. I am not sure if it can be wet sanded or not. I don't know of any deatil shops in the Maryland area that knows what they are doing.

BS, the car does not need to be painted. If it has water spots that have etched the paint then the car needs to be polished. You need to look for a detailer that knows what they are doing, as excel recommended. Then you can learn how to maintain your car yourself after,...its fun.

so...i subscribed to this thread.
And I also have water spots etched into the paint AND windows... go figure that one out haha.

Needs more Lemon Pledge
Before you throw 150 buck at a detailer, try Klasse AIO (maybe find it at Acura dealership or online). It is a CHEMICAL paint polish, with protective properties, butno abrasives. Very good at removing oxidation, etc... May work, and for 20-30 bucks or so, a much cheaper attempt.
Plus, if it doesn't work, you can use it after you get a repaint/polish!
